Facebookers Unite To Calm Kids' Wholesome Fear For Santa's Reindeer

We may not subscribe to the whole holiday magic thing, but this Christmas-related Facebook thread had us feeling all kinds of sappy. It's pretty well-known that kids have big hearts, and one mother of kindly youngsters turned to a Facebook thread to help her kids stop worrying about Santa's reindeers. The desperate mom asked a Veterinarian thread if they had info to quell her kids fears about the reindeers contracting laminitis from all the candy canes and sugar they assumed would be in their diet. Facebook users quickly banded together in creative ways to reassure the empathetic children that Santa's flyers would be just fine. The thread is a great reminder that regardless of religion or holiday spirit, people can be nice as hell.

That said carrots or hay would be more highly recommended then candy canes. Also around the world there are many veterinarians on call and checking these athletes,
