Pretty much anyone who's worked a customer-facing job can tell you that people are the absolute worst. For every normal interaction you have, it's guaranteed it will be balanced out by someone else being a complete and utter jerk for no reason.
Some working environments prove worse than others, though. On Twitter, @michaelharriot went into detail about the worst job he's ever had. To no one's surprise, it was in retail. The story that follows is an outrageous ride through stock mishaps, organizational chaos and worst of all, entitled Karen customers who take things way too far. Repeat after me: there is no $38 shirt on earth worth getting this mad for.
