It has to be said that it really sucks how looking at memes is considered a time wasting activity. Sure, we sometimes consume them when we are meant to be doing something else and they can be a distraction if we need to stay on task, but we can also learn a lot from them. However, we can learn a lot from them if we pay attention: there's a reason Advice Animals used to be so popular. Admittedly, much of this is useless information, but at least it's still using our brains. Even more importantly though, memes enrich our lives. You could argue that this is as good a reason as any to take a look at another random meme gallery.
