It's official: Science has gone too far. Just two weeks after Mountain Dew announced they were entering the booze game, the soft drink giants decided to make an equally disturbing announcement: they're gonna be making a Flamin' Hot soda.

In a wonderful twist of fate, the news came to us via this tweet from the gamers at IGN. The first thing that came to mind is the angry red of Flamin' Hot Cheetos. The combination of Mountain Dew and the spicy snacks makes sense, when served separately. Upon further investigation, it seems like the bubbly gamer juice will be sweet, citrusy, and spicy. Seems like they might be going for of a Mexican vibe, a nod at chamoy, a piquant sauce made with pickled fruit. While we're remaining slightly optimistic, the internet has a lot to say about this big news. And a lot of what they have to say involves spicy buttholes. We hope they're wrong about that hypothetical...effect.
