What started out as a pathetic attempt to sell a cool a e s t h e t i c through memetic marketing has recently become a spicy new starter pack-like meme thanks to @MEASURED_HEAD, who dragged the brand's cringey posts in a tweet.
The exploitability of @boogzel_apparel's memes did not go unnoticed. Soon after @MEASURED_HEAD shared the tweet, people were replying with their own ironic remixes and roasts. Always with the same header text, 'would you date him?' the memes vary from totally absurd to mildly offensive. One of my favorite versions of the meme features an image of an orange prison jumpsuit and a list of qualities that unmistakably describe Ted Kaczynski. Another gem references Nathan Fielder's character from his show Nathan for You. I know I'd swipe left.
