It's easy to feel smug when looking at the past mistakes and blunders of others from the comfort of hindsight, but we've all said or done foolish things that come to bite us in the ass later. Making bold statements on the internet is pretty risky these days—one should always assume that for every public post, there's always some screenshot-happy lurker ready to immortalize all the bad takes and opinions that won't age well.
